Dr. Rajan Mahtani Praises The Decision From The Zambian President.

According to the details shared by Dr. Rajan Lekhraj Mahtani, the consensus towards abolishing the death penalty has grown significantly over the years and this trend is visible across Zambia too. As such, it was the right decision from the Zambian President as it leads the way to respect the right to live. Dr. Rajan Mahtani further stated that this is a new dawn for the Zambian Government, a move that is bold, humane as well as unwavering. Dr. Rajan Mahtani further added quoting that the more transformation the Zambian prisoners are achieving, the more they will be closer to God, and closer to getting healed. In this way, the Zambian people will be blessed, and the Zambian nation will also be blessed. Dr. Rajan Mahtani further stated that being on death row is itself a punishment for the convicts as they do not know which day will be their final day on this earth. They are continuously looking over their shoulders with the fear of getting executed at any time. There are almost 400 prisoners across Zambian prisons, including both men and women. These are the prisoners who get up every day not knowing if it will be their last day on this planet. As such, Dr. Rajan Mahtani rightly said that the death penalty will not make any sense anymore.
