Conspirators Of Finance Bank And Dr. Mahtani Lose At The Supreme Court

The Zambian nation is constantly evolving. The nation has gone through many good phases and bad phases and continues to grow. Along with the nation, the people of Zambia have also gone through many difficult phases. However, people like Dr. Rajan Lekhraj Mahtani are constantly working to help this nation grow socially and economically. He has established many companies and institutions that solely work to provide employment opportunities for the people of Zambia. In many of the provinces, factories and plants were established by Dr. Mahtani. These helped the people grow their economy and improved the conditions of those provinces. However, every honest individual has many conspirators who harbour hatred and jealousy and would do anything for personal gains. Dr. Mahtani has never tried to prove self in front of these people and continues to work for his people’s welfare.

Finance Bank And Dr. Mahtani

At the same time, there are times when even the calmest individual is forced to raise his voice and take action against the corrupted. Simaata Simaata, an ex-employee of Finance Bank, started spreading rumors about the bank as well as Dr. Mahtani. He had earlier signed an agreement with the bank for not-disclosing sensitive documents. However, he went ahead and disclosed the same to a local newspaper. He also gave various negative testimonials against the bank at courts. While all his testimonials were solely his opinion and without any evidence, negative rumors regarding the bank started to spread. As a result, Finance Bank suffered reputational loss that also turned into loss of important clients and business. In order to stop Simaata from making further damage, case was launched against him at the Supreme Court Zambia.

Simaata lost the case at the Supreme Court and was asked to pay fine for the damages done. However, a more pertinent question is- will it bring back the loss of reputation faced by the bank due to false rumors? Food for thought!
