In the latest events, the Supreme Court of Zambia declared Simaata Simaata as guilty of charges. The case was registered against Simaata by Finance Bank Zambia, after the former broke various agreement terms. Finance Bank Zambia is popularly known as the bank for the people. It was launched by Dr. Rajan Mahtani with the sole objective of serving the Zambian community. His continued success and popularity among commoners and industrialists alike have given rise to many conspirators. These individuals and entities are those who are either jealous of his success or simply hate him for his popularity. Dr. Mahtani has always kept himself away from conspiracies. Even though conspirators have always tried to attack him or provoke him, Dr. Mahtani never engaged in fights or revenge schemes like his conspirators.
However, the situation went out of hand when the constant acts by Simaata started creating financial and reputational damages for the bank. Simaata had earlier signed an agreement with Finance Bank, for not divulging confidential information. He was also given handsome amount for signing this deal. Simaata is known for his overly jealous and competitive nature. It was no surprise when the bank found out that he broke his agreement terms in several cases. Firstly, he broke the agreement terms by testifying against the Bank and Dr. Mahtani. Secondly, he again broke the agreement term by publishing sensitive statements over public newspapers. All these activities created a negative reputation for the bank and it suffered loss in terms of credibility. As a result of these actions, the case was launched.
The results of the case are known to all. Simaata has been proven guilty by the Supreme Court judges and will also pay fine for his unethical practices. It remains to be seen whether this incident puts give some brains to those conspirators who are always eager to ruin Dr. Mahtani’s reputation with baseless campaigns all the time.
