The Zambezi Portland Cement Factory has plenty to brag about in recent time. To start with, the factory has registered a total output of 4, 73, 985 tonnes of cement in a year. The forecasted output of the same was around 3, 60, 000 tonnes with a daily product target of 1, 000 tonnes. Witnessing the success of ZPC, Dr. Rajan Mahtani, has also thought of investing further in Masaiti by introducing a concrete block-making facility.
The facility can support production of up to 8000 blocks per day and is likely to start within a period of 30 days. An additional benefit from the introduction of this plant is that it will also offer employment to the locals.
