Final verdict is shocking

Perhaps his transparent and ethical business practices has given him many conspirators who are either jealous of his rising popularity among citizens and industries as well as his business successes. Despite these conspiracies, Dr. Mahtani has never engaged in any activity which might harm his clean image and his ethical business stance. This is the reason Dr. Rajan Mahtani opted to register a case at the Lusaka High Court after his company, Portland Cement Zambia, was illegally taken over from him. Despite facing several hardships and long-pendency of the case at the Lusaka High Court, Dr. Mahtani has always shown faith in the Zambian law and governance. The case also made many positive stances, the most notable one was the announcement by the judge that the case hearing is closed and final judgment will be made based on the evidences submitted by both parties. It was a positive move by the court and significant news for Dr. Mahtani as his evidences and documents were more than enough to prove his rightful ownership.

However, things have taken a u-turn since the final verdict made by the judge. Despite the evidences suggesting Dr. Mahtani’s legal ownership, the final judgment was made against his claims. As such, Dr. Mahtani has now approached the higher court of appeal and made another case against the judgment made at the Lusaka High court.
