Recently, Dr. Rajan Lekhraj Mahtani was conferred with one of the most notable and regarded philanthropy and leadership awards in Africa. This award came to be known as the Forbes ‘Best of Africa’ award. As the name suggests, the awards are presented directly by the Forbes brand, which is known for several lists and rankings such as ranking of entrepreneurs, businesses, leaders, and other categories. The Forbes ‘Best of Africa’ award ceremony was a part of the Forbes-FIN philanthropy and leadership roundtable conference. It is one of the most anticipated and noted business events in Africa. The event is attended by businessmen, philanthropy workers, international business committee members, political leaders, opinion leaders, international investors as well as media partners. Dr. Rajan Mahtani was also invited in this event as an honorary speaker and discussed about the significance of leadership in healthcare. In a similar manner, Dr. Rajan Mahtani was conferred with the Forbes ‘Best of Africa’ awards for his several contributions including redefining the banking sector of Zambia. Forbes conferred Dr. Rajan Mahtani with the Forbes ‘Outstanding Entrepreneur of the Year’ award 2021. This award ceremony along with the Forbes-FIN philanthropy event was held virtually as a result of the ongoing Covid-19 pandemic. Members attended the event from their respective locations.
