While Dr. Rajan Mahtani is a noted businessman, most of us are not aware of his charitable activities. Dr. Mahtani is an avid charity worker and takes regular opportunities to support groups such as NGOs and other organizations working for the welfare of people. He is also an avid contributor for industry events as these are the platforms for generating attention and establishing solutions for various economic, social and political problems. Dr. Mahtani recently attended the AFPFZ (African Forum of Prison Fellowship Zambia) 2017, a national forum that brought together top economists, philanthropists, finance experts and many other experts of their respected areas or fields to discuss about the ongoing crisis across the nation and how to resolve them. While he was certainly lauded for his participation and sharing crucial insights on the current scenario of the nation with improvement strategies, most of the people attending the event were not aware that he also funded the event. It was known to public when the Chief Secretary, PFI (Prison Fellowship International) published a press release thanking Dr. Rajan Mahtani for funding the entire event.
