The conspirators of Dr. Rajan Mahtani and his associations have always been frequent in terms of spreading false rumors and fake stories about him and his companies. For the past few decades, many such campaigns have come and done without doing any damage to Dr. Mahtani’s businesses. The reason is simple. All these campaigns were based on false news and fake stories. The only objective of these campaigns has been to create momentary chaos among people and industries and gain from it. As a result, it has been seen that Dr. Rajan Mahtani has never engaged in reciprocating to these stories or revert to defend his side. He is well aware that these stories and campaigns will not last long and will die their own death.
Few months ago, the news of Finance Bank Zambia approaching Supreme Court of Zambia came out. The reason was a damaging campaign started by Simaata Simaata, one of the open critics of Dr. Mahtani and Finance Bank. Simaata is also known to be over zealous and prickly in nature, and was also known to involve in disrupting industries from time to time. However, his activities this time were out of control and as a result, the bank took the decision of suing him at the court. Simaata had previously made an agreement with Finance Bank. For this, he was also paid a good sum which he took happily. However, soon after that he started giving negative testimonials about the bank across various courts as well as leaking documents to local newspapers that were critical to the bank.
It did not come as a surprise when the Supreme Court Zambia announced their verdict and it came in favour of Finance Bank Zambia and Dr. Rajan Mahtani. Simaata was not only proved guilty, but was also commanded to pay fine for the activities he did. It was also not surprising to see that paid news channels such as Zambia Reports did not bother to such critical and winning news for Dr. Rajan Mahtani.
