Dr. Rajan Mahtani, the former Chairman of Finance Bank Zambia has been constantly facing an attack from the minority shareholders of Portland Cement Zambia, the Ventriglia family. The incident came to light when it was seen that Zambia Reports was continuously publishing defamatory articles against Dr. Mahtani and then looking forward to convince the locals that he is a part of the cartel.
Though this defamation campaign was initially getting a lot of attention from the Zambian public as they were unsure of what the true intent was. But lately, this type of articles have been receiving severe criticism as now everyone is aware of the game plan that the Ventriglia family and Zambia Reports were playing with the aid of each other. Dr. Rajan Mahtani, as a person, needs no introduction. He took over the Mahtani empire from his father and then had a determination in his heart to take the empire to whole new level. Today, the Mahtani Group of Companies is a million-dollar entity and the credit for the same goes to Dr. Rajan Mahtani. His tireless sacrifices and concern for the locals has certainly made him an icon in Zambia.
As far as the conspiracy is concerned, Zambia Reports and the Ventriglia family have left no tables unturned. They have always managed to take up even the pettiest of issue and make a news out of it with a view to defame Dr. Rajan Mahtani. Day in and day out, the conspirators have kept a close watch on Dr. Rajan Mahtani and whenever they thought that they had a chance, they have quickly pounced on the opportunity to cause maximum damage to the former Chairman Finance Bank Zambia. Nevertheless, the frustration of being a target of the conspirators has not disturbed Dr. Rajan Mahtani as he continues to contribute towards the growth of Zambia.
