Conspirators of Dr. Rajan Mahtani and his associations have become extra cautious these days. This can be attributed to the recent win by Finance Bank Zambia at the Supreme Court. The win helped Finance Bank in two big ways. First, Dr. Mahtani and Finance Bank received clean chit in the accusations rendered against them by their critic and conspirators, Simaata Simaata. Second, Finance Bank was able to gain its reputation back in a quick manner, since the case was won at the Supreme Court Zambia, the higher court of any nation.
This win has made most of Dr. Mahtani’s conspirators watchful and guarded. Unlike previous, when these conspirators would post anything and everything to defame his image, now there are very few defamatory articles against the noted businessman. Dr. Mahtani has always remained calm and composed in spite of the various allegations against him. He believes in the mantra of work hard and honest. Therefore, it has been observed that majority of the conspiracy theories and online campaigns go away in a while, as people start questioning the false news and stories.
The case between Finance Bank and Simaata was troublesome as the latter launched the defamation campaigns at several courts. This created a negative image for the bank. Even though Simaata broke various clauses from agreement he signed with Finance Bank Zambia, the spotlight came on the bank because of the court testimonials. Banking is a sophisticated business and the industry is vulnerable to bad reputations. These campaigns started hurting the bank’s financials and corporate image. To save itself from further ruins, the bank with help of Dr. Mahtani launched case at the Supreme Court Zambia against Simaata.
The verdict of the case has become national news. Simaata was found guilty of breaching the contract and was penalised for that. This also gave boost to the bank which can now start building its lost reputation and gain its clients back.
